A new 40,000 square foot facility on the campus of the Delray Medical Center will house outpatient radiation therapy in the form of proton therapy and linear radiation. The South Florida Proton Therapy Institute will join the shortlist of facilities across the nation offering this specialized treatment, which offers the most targeted form of radiation therapy currently available and consequently minimizes the amount of radiation patients must be exposed to during treatment.
Dash Door & Glass | Contract Door & Hardware Group collaborated with Automatic Door Group to furnish doors and hardware for the facility, in addition to furnishing and installing automatic ADA operators. The facility was designed by architects Stantec/VOA Associates, Inc.
