Dor-O-Matic's Astro-Swing® all electric
concealed overhead swing door operator with stainless steel
safety sensor rails provides a carpetless swing door system
for interior or exterior applications. Our stainless steel
sensor rail system, along with our Astro-Scan motion detector
for activation, allow planning departments to "integrate
safety" within the guard rails and eliminate the past
problems of mat short outs, loose trim, and broken thresholds
previously associated with carpet installations.
The nominal 2" (51mm) diameter stainless
steel sensor rail with inner steel shell and two wide rubber
cart bumpers offers the ultimate rail protection from accidental
cart bumping. Meets ANSI/BHMA A156.10 and U.L. requirements.

For all locations, both interior and exterior,
requiring a fully automatic swinging door system per ANSI/BHMA
A156.10. Eliminate the use of safety mats across the door
swing (safety) area. Astro-Scan motion is used for activation
on the approach side of the system.

Technical Support
Provide Dor-O-Matic Astro-Swing® with Stainless
Steel Sensor Rail System. Electro-mechanical operator shall
include control box and motor/gear in a full door-width concealed
overhead extruded aluminum housing 5-3/4" high x 4-1/2"
wide. Control box shall include a power boost close feature.
The power boost feature shall increase the closing force from
6lbf to 15 lbf. Universal control box provides two field adjustable
rotary switches for a variety of functions. Narrow or medium
style doors shall be provided by Dor-O-Matic. Activation shall
be by the Astro-Scan motion detector.
The stainless steel sensor rail system shall
provide a series of eight (8) invisible pulsed infrared light
beams and provide zone coverage of the swinging door area.
Codes & Certification
Door operator shall comply with current ANSI/BHMA
A156.10 "Standard for Power Operated Pedestrian Doors",
and meet U.L. requirements
Limited Warranty
The Astro-Swing with Stainless Steel Sensor
Rail System equipment and controls shall be warranted for
one (1) year from date of installation.
